Votive Candle was a metaphorical artwork made to participate in the free Tibet campaign or “A Candle for Tibet” protest,
on 7 August 2008, the eve of the start of the Beijing Olympics.
The act of lighting a candle, being personal and spiritual, is also viewed as a vote.
MY Votive candle represented to me the physical act of the lit candle and so of the participation of the protest
